If we want to know, why there
is wealth and poverty in the world, we can find an explanation. There is an explanation
for everything, and explanations seem to satisfy most of us. The same is the
case as regards religion. We are satisfied with explanations, and to explain
away everything we call knowledge.
Is that what we understand
about education? Do we learn to discover, or are we only coming to look for
explanations, definitions, conclusions, in order to be able to dull the mind,
and stop questioning?
