The painful conflict between good and evil, hope and fear, love and
hate, the observer and the observed, has arisen from our striving after
achieving something, acquiring something, becoming something.
And this striving gives itself expression in sensuality, in worldliness,
or in aspiration after personal fame and immortality.
So, we create the conflict through our aspiration.
