The silent mind becomes extremely awake. 

This awakeness in the mind is something, which the separated superficial mind never can see.

Silence is therefore nothing which can be chosen and self-produced through the will.

Silence comes when you understand the whole structure and beginning of life, and know what it is to be alive.

Silence has with life-feeling, spontaneity and self-forgetfulness to do.
