The Internet is the Ultimate Hunting Ground for Energy Vampires

The spiritual teacher, and shaman, Mary Shutan, has written an article called, Five Types of Energy Vampires. She writes how they prosper on the internet.

Energy vampires, or spiritual vampires, is a central theme in my cultural criticism. I have written in depth about spiritual vampires in my book, Lucifer Morningstar - A Philosophical Love Story. Energy vampires feed by creating an energy cord to you. It happen by making you respond to them, either via your concrete answer, or by provoking thoughts and feelings in you. Try to watch this BBC video, called When Two Internet Trolls Meet. 

This happens in public on social medias, but it can also happen via the possibility of contacting you privately on the message button. 

When an energy vampire approaches you, there are obvious things that most people would ignore. But there are other, more subtle ways, that would make you respond. This can for example begin via a question that seems innocent and even might sound flattering. But quickly you can then see yourself caught in, for example, what I call a Questioning Trap.

The whole area of thought distortions (sophism) is an example of the "techniques" of energy vampires. It is no surprise that my book, A Dictionary of Thought Distortions, is so hated. Many occult New Age directions, as for example New Thought and the Law of Attraction, have directly made thought distortions into parts of their teaching, as for example Confirmation Bias, Gaslightning, or the Fake It Till You Make It mantra.

With my cultural criticism I´m of course a topic of attacks from energy vampires, and that´s also the reason why I don´t have a public email. But I do have a Facebook profile, and the reason why I´m writing this post, is that I recently had a message on Facebook Messenger, that shows the sophistic ingenuity of energy vampires. The message was from a person, who had read my critique of The Human Design System. He celebrated the critique, and agreed with it. However, he wrote, out of my writing he could clairvoyantly see that I had some fractures in my head area, which he could correct if I sent him my birth date, so that he could make a complete evaluation of me, based on the Human Design System!

This might have worked if you, as New Age demands, had eliminated all critical thinking, and surrendered yourself to your "intuition" and "feelings" (= subjectivism). However, when you work with critical thinking, the guy, by giving himself as an example, exposed precisely what it is, I criticize in The Human Design System (see my article: A Critique of the Human Design System).
