The guest and the philosophical
counselor must together try to find the answer to the guest´s question.
If the philosophical counselor
gives an answer, it would not be the guest´s discovery; it would only be on the
verbal plane, and therefore altogether useless.
The guest must be guided in how
he himself can find it, and that will say that he must experience it; it is
this, which is so important.
To discover is to experience,
and the guest and the philosophical counselor must discover it together.
